× 20 cm is melted down, and identical smaller rectangular blocks, each with a volume of 80 cm³, are made from this molten block without any wastage. How many such small blocks can be obtained?Solution
Volume of large blocks =lbh =60×40×20 =4800cm3 The volume of each small block is given as 80 cm³. To find the number of such small blocks, divide the volume of the large block by the volume of one small block:  Number of small blocks = Volume of large block/ Volume of one small block =48,000 /80  = 600
