Let the length and breadth of the field is 3x and 4x respectively. Area of the field = 17424/12 = 1452 m2 So, (3x times; 4x) = 1452 rArr; x2 = 121 rArr; x = 11 Therefore, the length of the field = 3x = 33 m And the breadth of the field = 4x = 44 m Required cost = 2 times; (33 + 44) times; 14 = Rs. 2156
