The Greatest number is determined by multiplying 4320 by 3 and subtracting 5231 from it 4320 is the smallest number which is completely divisible by the given numbers. And we have to find the largest 4 digit number, so to reach the bigger number we will multiply it by 3 and then subtract 5231 from it. The greatest number of 4 digits = 4320 × 3 - 5231.   = 12960 - 5231 = 7729.
