travel 180 km downstream. If the speed of the boat is ‘4x’ km/hr and the speed of the stream is ‘x’ km/hr, find x.Solution
ATQ,
[270 / (4x - x)] - [180 / (4x + x)] = 9
[270 / 3x] - [180 / 5x] = 9
[1350 / 15x] = 9
15x = 1350 / 9
15x = 150
x = 10
