Question
A Swimmer Walks 45km along the river's flow in 3 hours 45 minutes and walks 15km against the flow in 2 hours 30min. Find the speed of the boat in Still Water and the Speed of flow.
Solution
Let the speed of boat in still water =B and speed of stream =S then – ATQ-
B-S =6            … (2) Solving (1) +(2) 2B =18 B=9km/h and S=3km/h.
