speed. If the steam train had been faster by 8 kilometers per hour, it would have taken 16 hours less than the scheduled time. If the steam train had been 4 kilometers per hour slower than it would have taken 12 hours more than the scheduled time. Find the distance covered by the steam train.Solution
ATQ- Distance - S(S+8) ×16/8 … (1) S(S-4) ×12/4 … (2) Solving After (1) and (2) 3S-2S=16+12 S=28km/h D=28(28+8)16/8 =28×72=2016km
