The sum of the weight of 4 persons = 30 × 4 = 120 kg Let the weight of the lightest person = ‘x’ kg The weight of the heaviest person = (x + 22) kg The sum of the weight of the remaining two persons = 29 × 2 = 58 kg According to the question, x + x + 22 + 58 = 120 2x = 40 x = 20 The weight of the heaviest person = 20 + 22 = 42 kg
