Three natural numbers are given. If sum of average of
any two numbers and the remaining third number is 56, 46 and 50 respectively, then find the sum of given three numbers.Solution
Let the three numbers are a, b and c. According to question, => (a + b)/2 + c = 56 ⇒ a + b + 2c = 112 ------ (i) => (b + c)/2 + a = 46 ⇒ b + c + 2a = 92 ------ (ii) => (c + a)/2 + b = 50 ⇒ c + a +2b = 100 ------ (iii) Add (i), (ii) and (iii) => 4(a + b+ c) = 304 ⇒ a + b + c = 304 /4 = 76
