    14 years ago was 5 : 3. The present age of Aryan's grandfather is 7/2 of Aryan's age. If the age of Aryan 8 years ago was 16 years, then find the sum of present ages of all three.

    Aryan's present age = 24 yrs Grandfather's age = 7/2 × 24 = 84 yrs Grandfather's age 14 years ago = 70 yrs According to question, => 70/(Father's age 14 yrs ago) = 5/3 => 5 ----- 70 => 3 ------ 70/5 × 3 = 42 yrs Father's present age = 42 + 14 = 56 yrs ∴  Sum of ages = 24 + 84 + 56 = 164 years
