Let A’s age be x years. B’s age = 3x and C’s age = (5 + x) According to question, => x + 3x + (5 + x) = 60 => 5x = 55 => x = 11 B’s age = 3x = 33 years C’s age = 5 + x = 16 years Difference between the ages of B and C = 33 – 16 = 17 years
