7 years ago, Let the ratio of ages of A and B = x:2x According to the question, => (x + 14)/(2x + 14) = 3/5 => 5x + 70 = 6x + 42 => x = 28 Present age of A = x + 7 = 35 years Present age of B = 2x + 7 = 63 years
