5 years hence from now, let the ages of the younger sibling and the older sibling be '4c' years and '5c' years, respectively. ATQ, 
So, the age of the older sibling, 7 years hence from now = 5c−5+7=5(3)−5+7 = 17 years. Age of the younger sibling, 7 years hence from now = 4c−5+7=4(3)−5+7 = 14 years. Therefore, the required sum = 17+14 = 31 years.
