Annual Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit is being hosted by India from December 12 to 14, 2023.  GPAI is a collaborative initiative involving multiple stakeholders, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications of AI by supporting cutting-edge research and applied activities in AI-related priorities. Launched in June 2020, GPAI's membership is open to all countries, including emerging and developing nations.  Currently, GPAI boasts 28 member countries, which include the European Union. India is one of the founding members.  The secretariat of GPAI is based at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.
