The Pay band of SSC MTS is 5200 - 20200 and the Grade Pay is of 1800 rupees and as per the 7th pay commission, the in-hand salary of an SSC MTS employee will come around to Rs. 18000 to 22000.     The SSC Havaldar will also draw a Pay Level-1 salary as per the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission. It is also a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
