SSC MTS Recruitment 2025 Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to provide promising job opportunities to candidates who have completed matriculation (Class 10) and are looking for a stable career. The SSC MTS 2025 exam will begin with the release of the SSC MTS notification. Eligible candidates must register for the exam within the deadline.
The SSC MTS Examination, 2025 will be held as a fully online Computer-Based Examination between 20 September and 24 October 2025.
On the day of the exam, candidates will sit for two sessions of 45 minutes each (60 minutes if availing a scribe): Session I covers Numerical & Mathematical Ability (20 questions, 60 marks) and Reasoning & Problem Solving (20 questions, 60 marks), while Session II covers General Awareness (25 questions, 75 marks) and English Language & Comprehension (25 questions, 75 marks).
There is no negative marking in Session I; Session II carries a penalty of one mark for each wrong answer.
Online applications open on 26 June 2025 and close on 24 July 2025, with fee payment due by 25 July and a correction window from 29 July to 31 July. Admit cards will be available for download a few days before each candidate’s exam shift. Candidates should note their specific exam date and venue through the SSC portal or the mySSC mobile app to plan their preparation and ensure timely arrival.
SSC MTS Exam Dates 2025
The SSC MTS & Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) notification for 2025 was released on June 26, 2025. The online application window runs from June 26, 2025 to July 24, 2025; fee payment must be completed by July 25, 2025, and corrections can be made until July 31, 2025.
The Computer-Based Examination will be held nationwide from September 20, 2025 to October 24, 2025. Admit cards will be available for download a few days before each candidate’s exam date. SSC MTS Apply Online 2025
Candidates must complete their One-Time Registration on the SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) or via the mySSC mobile app before filling out the SSC MTS 2025 application form. The online application window is open from June 26, 2025 to July 24, 2025; all fees must be paid by July 25, 2025.
During registration, upload a clear passport-size photograph and your signature in JPEG/JPG format (10–20 KB each), and ensure all personal and educational details match your supporting documents. A correction window will be available from July 29, 2025 to July 31, 2025 for any necessary amendments.
The application fee of ₹100 is payable online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay debit/credit cards. Candidates preferring offline payment can generate an SBI challan and deposit cash at any SBI branch by the fee deadline.
Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from the fee. To avoid last-minute issues, complete the registration and fee payment well before the cutoff dates, and retain your payment confirmation for future reference.
