IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern
The first phase of the IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam is the Preliminary exam. IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims 2025 exam will be conducted online. IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims exam is a 45 minutes examination in which 80 questions are asked. Subjects involved in it are- Numerical Ability and Reasoning. IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains Exam Pattern
If you clear the first phase of the examination, you will be called for the second phase of the examination i.e. IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains exam which is also conducted online. IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains exam pattern will be a two-hour exam and the subjects involved in it are Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness, English/ Hindi and Computer Aptitude. Marking Scheme
IBPS follows certain criteria for marks allocation and deduction for the RRB Clerk exam. This particular marking scheme is actually defining the difficulty level of the exam. Every incorrect answer would cost 1/4th or 0.25 marks of the original marks allotted to the particular question. In IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains exam, the Numerical Ability and Reasoning section have different questions possessing different marks and this goes for the Computer section also. There will not be any deduction for an unattempted question.

Please note that the Numerical Ability and Reasoning section of the IBPS RRB Clerk Main exam consists of different marks based on the difficulty level of the question. Also, each question of the Computer knowledge consists of 0.5 marks, and 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

In IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam, the Preliminary and Mains exam can be attempted in English/ Hindi along with the regional language option.
