
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2023
IBPS RRB Office Assistant eligibility is one of the most important aspects to look into in the IBPS RRB Clerk exam. You are advised to go through the complete notification properly to avoid any kind of misunderstanding and disqualification from the examination. It should be noted that an Office Assistant can be eligible for the posts of Scales 1,2 & 3 on the condition that she/he possesses the required eligibility. As the official notification for IBPS RRB CRP-XI is not yet out, we will look at the IBPS RRB Clerk eligibility criteria as per the 2022 notification. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant eligibility criteria are as follows.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Educational Criteria (As on June 27, 2022)
To be able to apply for the IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2023 exam you must: (a) Hold a graduation degree from any recognized university (b) Proficiency in the language of the area you are applying for.

*Proficiency in the local language – For recruitment of IBPS RRB Office Assistant Multipurpose, proficiency in the local language as specified below shall be an essential qualification:-
- Candidates who have already studied the language of the State in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in Government recognized Boards of Education/Schools or have any certificate to the effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII would be considered proficient in that local language.
- Where the candidate does not meet the aforesaid requirement in the local language at the time of selection, he will be given a time of six months from the date of joining to acquire proficiency. This period can be extended by the Boards of RRBs within the framework of the rules and provided that such extension should not be beyond the probation period.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Age Criteria
The IBPS RRB Office Assistant age criteria are also a must to apply for the RRB Clerk exam. You are required to be in between 18 and 28 years as per the official notification i.e. you should not have been born earlier than June 02, 1994, and not after June 01, 2004.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Age Relaxation
Other than the above age criteria, the government has given age relaxation to some specific categories If you fall under the category of SC/ST, OBC, PWD, and Ex-serviceman, you are eligible for age relaxation.
