Eligibility Criteria 2021
To apply for any exam, and especially one like IBPS RRB Scale 2 Officer, you need to be careful enough while filling the application form. RRB eligibility criteria for Scale 2 2021 comprise various parameters that you need to follow. Besides that you need to be -
- An Indian National or
- A Nepalese subject or
- Bhutanese subject or
- A refugee from Tibet who immigrated before January 1, 1962, with the intent to settle in India permanently or
- A Pakistani, Burmese, East African or Sinhalese immigrant with the intent to settle in India permanently.
IBPS RRB Scale 2 Educational Criteria
Since IBPS RRB Scale 2 exam consists of two posts one for General Banking Officer and the other for Specialist Officer so each post requires different educational eligibility. Also under the Specialist Category, there are various posts and each post demands different educational degrees. |IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 General Banking Officer (Manager)||Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.||Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.|
|IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 Specialist Officers (Manager)||Information Technology Officer - Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

|Chartered Accountant - Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India||One Year as a Chartered Accountant.|

IBPS RRB Scale 2 Age Criteria
Apart from the regular educational criteria, you also need to fulfil the age criteria for IBPS RRB Scale 2 2021. The minimum age for applying is 21 years and the maximum is 32 years.

IBPS RRB Scale 2 Age Relaxation
IBPS RRB provides a relaxation in the upper age limit to some of the categories. Many categories have been listed down by IBPS where the period of relaxation varies according to the respective category. You should first go through the complete IBPS RRB notification 2021 for Scale 2 and then apply for the post. If you are eligible for the relaxation you need to produce the respective certificates at the time of selection. Without the original certificates, the relaxation will not be applicable. Exam Centre 2021
IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 2021 exam will be held online across the country in various states. The RRBs will select certain exam centres all over India which will assist in the proper conduct of the exam. The facility to select an exam centre of your choice is given while filling the application form. No request of changing the IBPS RRB exam centres for Scale 2 exam is entertained once the application form is submitted. IBPS and the respective RRBs do possess the right to make changes in the list of exam centres. You need to appear in the exam at your own expenses and risk.
