Question
In the question below there are three statements
followed by three conclusions I, II and III. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts. Statements: Few Bird are Parrot Only a few Parrot are Sparrow No Sparrow is Pigeon Conclusion: I. All Parrot is being Bird is a possibility II. Some Bird is not Pigeon III. All Pigeon is being Sparrow is a possibilitySolution
Few Bird are Parrot → Probable conclusion → All Parrot may be Bird (I). Hence conclusion I follows. Few Bird are Parrot (I) + Only a few Parrot are Sparrow (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion II does not follow. No Sparrow is Pigeon (E) → Probable conclusion → No conclusion. Hence conclusion III does not follow.
