In the question below some statements are given followed by some conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusion definitely follows from the given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.

    Solution

    Only a few CEO are CGM → Some CEO are not CGM (O) and Some CEO are CGM (I). Hence conclusion I follows. Only CEO are BOD → Some BOD are CEO and BOD cannot have any positive relation with anyone. Hence neither conclusion II not IV follow. No CEO is MD (E) + A few MD are GM (I) → Some GM are not CEO (O*) → Probable conclusion →  Some CEO may be GM (A).   Hence conclusion III does not follow.
