AB = 20 Km towards East, BC = 25 Km, CD = 15 Km, DE = 10 Km, EF = 13 Km. 
Distance between his initial point & final point = (AO)² + (FO)² = AF² (25 - 10)² + (13-5)² = AF² (15)² + (8)² = AF² 225 + 64 = AF² 289 = AF² AF = 17 km.
