So, marks scored by Meena in English and History = 246 – 90 = 156
Let the marks obtained by Meena in History be ‘x’.
So, marks obtained by Meena in English = 1.4x
So, x + 1.4x = 156
2.4x = 156
x = 156 / 2.4
x = 65
So, marks obtained by Meena in History = 65 marks.
