Each of the floor consist of 3 flats as flat-1, flat-2 and flat-3. Flat-1 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-1 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-1 of floor-3 and in the same way flat-2 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-2 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-2 of floor-3 and so on. Flat-2 is in east of flat-1 and flat-3 is in east of flat-2. Note: If A lives above (or below) B, then there are living in same flat unless stated otherwise. D lives immediately above of P who lives to the immediate East of K in an odd numbered floor. O lives to the west of H who lives to the immediate above of S on Floor-2 and in Flat-3. X lives north-west of P and immediate west of D. J lives immediately below of R who lives in North-West direction of C who lives immediately above of A.Solution
D lives immediately above of P who lives to the immediate East of K in an odd numbered floor. As per these lines four cases will form: O lives to the west of H who lives to the immediate above of S on Floor-2 and in Flat-3. Case-2 gets rejected since above said condition is not possible. Also we get two more sub cases from Case-1-A and Case-2-A
X lives north-west of P and immediate west of D Case-1 gets rejected since above said condition is not possible
J lives immediately below of R who lives in North-West direction of C who lives immediately above of A. Note: Case-1-A, Case-2-A and Case-1-A (I) gets rejected since above said condition is not possible
Finally Z lives in 1st floor of FLAT-2 and we get the final arrangement
He is always praised for his gift of the gab.
