Arjun is related to Samsung - Purple. Following the same pattern, find out Jatin is related to which of the following? Read the following information and answer the questions that follow: Seven persons Johny, Ankit, Arjun, Shubham, Karan, Jatin and Pankaj work in seven different laptop companies namely HP, Lenovo, Apple, Samsung, DELL, ASUS and ACER and they take leave on different days of the week from Monday to Sunday and also they like different colours viz.- Red, green, yellow, purple, black, white and brown. The order of persons, laptop companies, colours and days of the week are not necessarily in the same order.   Arjun works in HP laptop company but does not take leave on Tuesday. Pankaj takes leave on Monday but not in Apple and ACER. Jatin works in DELL and takes leave on Friday. The one who works in HP likes black colour. Ankit works in Samsung and takes leave on Wednesday. Two people work on the days between the days on which one who likes black and the one who likes white colour. Shubham, who likes white does not work in HP or Apple and takes leave on the next day of the day on which Karan takes, who works in ASUS. The one who likes purple takes leave on the day just before the day on which Arjun take and three people takes leave on the days between the days on which the one who likes red and the one who likes brown take. The one who likes green takes leave just before the day on which the one who likes red takes. The one who likes yellow takes leave after the day on which the person who likes red takes leaveSolution
According to the definite conditions of the questions, the arrangement is-  It is given that Arjun does not take leave on Tuesday so Arjun can take leave on Thursday or Saturday or Sunday. According to the question, the one who likes purple takes leave on the day just before the day on which Arjun takes leave and three people takes leave between the days on which the one who likes yellow and the one who likes brown takes. The person who likes green takes leave just before the day on which the one who likes red takes leave and the one who likes yellow takes leave after the day on which the one who likes red take. So, three conditions are applied on all the possible arrangements of Arjun .       In the first arrangement, when Arjun takes leave on Saturday. So Jatin likes purple. According to the condition, two persons take leave between the days on which the one who likes black & the one who likes white take leave that means two people takes leave between the days on which Arjun and Shubham takes leave . So, Shubham takes leave on Monday but it is given that Pankaj takes leave on Monday. So this arrangement is not possible In the second arrangement, when Arjun takes leave on Sunday so Shubham takes leave on Wednesday but it is given that Jatin takes leave on Wednesday. So this arrangement is also not possible.       In the third arrangement, Arjun takes leave on Thursday so Shubham takes leave on Sunday. Ankit likes purple .    According to the given condition, Pankaj likes green , Johny likes red , Karan likes brown colour and it is given that one who likes yellow takes leave after the day on which the one who likes red takes leave. So it can be any day after Tuesday. Only one person remains so Jatin likes yellow
