D Data given in statement I and II together is necessary to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E Data given in statement I and II together are not sufficient to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

From statement I alone, J sits third to the left of H and neither of them sit at extreme end. E sits immediate left of G. F sits to the left of I. So, we have F          J          E         G         H         I So, I sits at extreme right end. From statement II alone, F sits second to the left of E, who sits third to the left of I. G sits immediate left of H. So, we have F          J          E         G         H         I So, I sits at extreme right end. Therefore, either statement I or II is sufficient to answer the question.
