A I alone is sufficient, while II alone is not sufficient Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B II alone is sufficient, while I alone is not sufficient Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Both I and Il together are not sufficient Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Both I and II together are sufficient Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

Statement-I: Ronaldo is 25th from the extreme left end of the row.  Statement-II: Messi is exactly in the middle of the row and there are ten footballers to his right.  So, Messi ranks 11th from the left.  When combining Statement I and II:  Total footballers between Ronaldo and Messi = Ronaldo’s rank from left – Messi’s rank from left – 1 Total captains between Winnie and Dyson = 25 – 11 – 1 = 25 – 12 = 13  So, there are 13 footballers between Ronaldo and Messi. Thus, both I and II together are sufficient. Hence, the correct answer is (D).
