Question
A is in which direction with respect to B? I. A
and B start walking from the same point in opposite directions and after walking 5 kms each, both turn towards their left. II. A moves in a lane parallel to B for 5 Kms and then turns right to find B walking ahead of him. Each of the following questions below consists of a question and two statements numbered I and II given below it. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question. Read both the statements and give the answer.Solution
In both I and II, directions are not given. In I, both can either be moving horizontally or vertically. If moving horizontally, A can either be moving towards East or west. Same is the case for vertically movement in north or south direction. Thus, A can be either North west or South East direction with respect to B. Similarly in II, parallel lane can be horizontal or vertical, thus neither of the statements are sufficient to answer the given question.
