Present age of Ravi = 42 X (4/7) = 24 yearsPresent age of Rajeev = 42 - 24 = 18 years6 years hence from now, ages of Ravi and Rajeev will be (24 + 6) and (18 + 6) i.e. 30 years and 24 years respectively.So, required ratio = 30:24 = 5:4
