ATQ,
Let the length of the platform be ‘x’ metres
Speed of the train = 72 × (5/18) = 20 m/s
ATQ,
(x + 175) = 20 × 36
Or, (x + 175) = 720
Or, x = 720 - 175
Or, x = 545
Therefore, the length of the platform = 545 metres
