Let the length of the platform be ‘x’ metres
Speed of the train = 48 × (5/18) = 13.33 m/s
ATQ,
(x + 230) = 13.33 × 50
Or, (x + 230) = 666.5
Or, x = 666.5 - 230
Or, x = 436.5
Therefore, the length of the platform = 436.5 metres
