Question
The average value of the property of Pooja, Sahil and
Ramesh is Rs. 66 lacs. The value of the property of Pooja is Rs. 12 lacs less than that of Sahil, and Rs. 6 lacs less than that of Ramesh. Find the value of the property of Ramesh.Solution
Total value of the property of Pooja, Sahil and Ramesh = 66 Γ 3 = Rs. 198 lacs
Let the value of the property of Sahil = Rs. x lacs
The value of the property of Pooja = Rs. (x β 12) lacs
The value of the property of Ramesh = Rs. (x β 12 + 6) lacs
x + x β 12 + x β 6 = 198
3x β 18 = 198
3x = 198 + 18
3x = 216
x = Rs. 72 lacs
The value of the property of Ramesh = 72 β 6 = Rs. 66 lacs
