      Question

Arjun, cycling at a speed of 81 km/hr, can complete one

round of a square field in 8 seconds. The radius of a circular field is 4 meters more than each side of the squared field. Calculate the area of the circular field.
A 5546 m² Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 5452 m² Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 6206 m² Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 7546 m² Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E none of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ, Perimeter of the squared filed = {81 × (5/18)} × 8 = 180 metres Therefore each side of the squared field = 180/4 = 45 metres Radius of the circular field = 45 + 4 = 49 metres Therefore, area of the circular field = πr2 = (22/7) × 492 = 7546 m2
