According to the question, (5x/10) – (8x/26) = 1 Or, (5x × 13 – 8x × 5) ÷ 130 = 1 Or, (65x – 40x) ÷ 130 = 1 So, x = 5.2 Required value = 8 × 5.2 = 41.6
