    reach point B from point A, if a car cover 13% the same distance in 2.6 hours and a truck covers 50% of the distance in 6 hours. The sum of speed of the car and truck is 200 km/hr.

    Solution

    Let speed of car be s kmph
    Time taken by car travel total distance = 100/13 x 2.6 = 20 hrs
    Time taken by truck to cover total distance = 100/50 x 6 = 12 hrs
    so, s x 20 = (200 - s) x 12
    20s = 2400 - 12s
    so, riquired distance = 75 x 6 = 450 km
