    Let the number of cupcakes received by ‘X’ and ‘Y’ be 3x and 5x, respectively.

    According to the question,

    5x – 3x = 12

    Or, 2x = 12

    Or, x = 6

    Therefore, total number of cupcakes distributed by Priya = 8x = 48

    Therefore, total number of cupcakes Sneha had = 48/0.75 = 64
