A 25 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B -15 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C -16 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 11 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

      Number of boys in town = {3 / (3 + 5)} Γ— 2400 = 900

      Number of girls in town = {5 / (3 + 5)} Γ— 2400 = 1500

      According to question,

      900 : (1500 + 200) = 18 : x

      900 : 1700 = 18 : x

      18 : 34 = 18 : x

      Therefore, x = 34

      So, (18 – x) = 18 – 34 = –16
