    Let the original number of faculties in Physics and Biology be 2x and 3x respectively According to the question,   => (2x + 60)/(3x + 32) = 3/4 => 9x + 96 = 8x + 240 => x = 144 Original number of faculties = 2x + 3x = 5x = 5 × 144 = 720
