Question
720 sweets are divided among four kids in the ratio
(1/5):(1/6):5:9. The second highest recipient got how many more sweets than the lowest recipient?Solution
ATQ,
Given Ratio = (1/5):(1/6):5:9.
Multiplying all values by 30 i.e. LCM of 5 and 6,
The ratio becomes = 6:5:150:270
So, number of sweets received by the second highest recipient = 720 × (150/431) = 250
Number of sweets received by the least recipient = 720 × (5/431) = 9
So, required difference = 250 - 9 = 241
