Let the number of boys and girls in 2023 be '3a' and '5a', respectively. ATQ, (3a + 30) : (5a − 10) = 1 : 1 Or, 3a + 30 = 5a − 10 Or, 2a = 40 Or, ‘a’ = 20 Therefore, required number of students = 3a + 5a = ‘8a’ = 8 × 20 = 160
