    Solution

    Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 13x and Rs. 10x respectively. According to the question, => 0.80 x 13x + 0.80 x 85x = 56700 => 10.4x + 8.5x = 56700 => x = 3000 Required difference = 13x – 10x = 3x = Rs.9000
