    New female = 1.25 × 6000 = 7500 Total = 13500 + 7500 = 21000 So, A can be the answer. When male population is increased by 60% and female population is increased by 10%. New male = 1.60 × 9000 = 14400
    New female = 1.10 × 6000 = 6600 Total = 14400 + 6600 = 21000 So, B can be the answer. When male population is increased by 100% and female population is decreased by 50%. New male = 2.00 × 9000 = 18000
