According to the question,
x - 1.40x × 75% × 85% = 1075
x - 1.40x × 0.75 × 0.85 = 1075
x - 0.8925x = 1075
0.1075x = 1075 ⟹ x = 10000
The required selling price = Rs. 10000 - 1075 = Rs. 8925
