    Time taken by tap C alone to ill the tank = 18/1.5 = 12 hours One hour work of tap A, tap B and tap C together = (1/18 + 1/9 + 1/12) = (2 + 4 + 3)/36 = 1/4 So, time taken by tap A, tap B, and tap C to ill the tank = 1/ (1/4) = 4 hours
