    Let x kg of Refined is used for daily consumption, then (x + 8) × 20 = (x + 12) × 16 20x + 160 = 16x + 192 4x = 32 x = 8 ∴ Total quantity of Oil = (8 + 8) × 20 = 320 litre Required number of Days = 320/8 = 40 days
