In a test, Riya attempted 75%  of the questions. Out of the attempted questions, she got 64%  correct. For each correct answer 3 marks  are given and for each wrong answer 1 mark  is deducted. If her total score is 117 , find the total number of questions.

ATQ, Let the total number of questions = 100x Number of questions attempted = 100x * 75/100 = 75x Number of correct answers = 75x * 64/100 = 48x Number of wrong answers = 75x – 48x = 27x According to the question, 48x * 3 – 27x * 1 = 117 144x – 27x = 117 117x = 117 x = 1 Total number of questions = 100 * 1 = 100
