Number of students who like cricket = 100x * 15/100 = 15x Number of students who like rugby = 100x * 45/100 = 45x Number of students who like football = 100x – 15x – 45x = 40x 40x – (45x * 40/100) = 660 40x – 18x = 660 22x = 660 x = 30 Total number of students in the school = 100 * 30 = 3000
