Total number of boys = 480 × 0.5 = 240
Total number of girls = 480 - 240 = 240
Number of boys who do not like science = 240 × 0.4 = 96
Number of girls who do not like science = 240 × 0.3 = 72
Total number of students who do not like science = 96 + 72 = 168
