      ATQ, Let total number of trees in the plantation be 100x Number of coconut trees = 0.3 × 100x = 30x Number of palm trees = 0.5 × (100x – 30x) = 35x Number of date trees = 100x – 30x – 35x = 35x According to the question, 35x – 30x = 20 Or, 5x = 20 Or, x = 4 Therefore, number of date trees = 35x = 140
