Let the population in 2020 be ‘x’.
ATQ,
x × 1.09 × 1.06 × 0.90 = 25960
Or, x = 25960 × (1/1.09) × (1/1.06) × (1/0.90)
So, x = 30,000
Therefore, the population of the village in 2020 = x = 30,000
