    Let number of eligible voters be ‘100y’ Number of eligible voters who cast their votes = 0.80 × 100y = ‘80y’ Total number of valid votes = 0.95 × 80y = ‘76y’ ATQ, 76y × 0.75 = 9975 Or, y = 175 Therefore, total number of eligible voters = 100y = (100 × 175) = 17500
